Next Version of Amiga Forever

Q: Is Amiga Forever 2006 still the current version? Are you going to release a 2007 version soon?

A: Amiga Forever 2006 was first released in 2006. During June 2007, a new build of the software was released, featuring full and enhanced support for Windows Vista and x64 versions of Windows in all components (installer, launcher, check for updates, WinUAE software and configurations, Amiga Explorer).

The 2007 build of Amiga Forever is still called "Amiga Forever 2006". All users of Amiga Forever 2006 can update the individual components by clicking the Check for Updates option in the Amiga Forever launcher.

Given this update (which is already shipping, and which is free for past Amiga Forever 2006 users), we are not planning to release another new product named "Amiga Forever 2007". We keep working on the project, and expect to be able to release a new version in 2008, which, as usual, will be available at upgrade conditions to all customers.

On December 18, 2007, we announced more details on Amiga Forever 2008, including free upgrades to all customers who purchased Amiga Forever 2006 on or after December 1st, 2007.
