Amiga Explorer "Error 0x80004005" Message

Amiga Explorer displays an "Error 0x80004005" message.

DISCUSSION

This is probably caused by the fact that the Windows side of Amiga Explorer was set to communicate with an Amiga over the serial port, but found a modem replying to it instead. To correct this, it is sufficient to right-click the Amiga Explorer ("Amiga") icon on the Windows side, select Properties, and change the COM port setting, as explained in Amiga Explorer Troubleshooting.
