A: For physical products (e.g. CDs) the license key is printed on a label that is usually affixed to the inside of the CD cover (on the side facing the medium itself).
Some resellers assemble the products themselves (in order to optimize shipping costs), and may affix the label on the outside of the jewel box. Our online partner Digital River does not use labels, but rather sends the license key by email in the order confirmation (it may be referred to as "Serial Number").
For both Online and physical products, Digital River may refer to the "License Key" as "Serial Number". In any case, the number is always both displayed on screen and included in the sale confirmation email. If you lost the number, it can be recovered as outlined here.
Please note that the license key is not the number under the EAN/UPC product bar code.
